Thank you for visiting our website and we hope that you will consider the European School in Central Asia for the education of your children. Our school is but a year old but we have engendered a sense of belonging and care within the school community. We are very excited about the type of school we offer. This enthusiasm is mirrored by the community and our numbers have increased considerably since we opened on 1st September 2011.
At the European School we feel the warm and friendly atmosphere that exists is a major factor in helping our pupils to maximize their potential. Small class sizes, an attractive, well-resourced location and vibrant teaching all contribute towards a working environment that will enable them to achieve success.
The European School opened on 1st September 2011, with children from two to nine years of age as founding pupils. It is founded as a non-profit organization. The school provides quality education in a supportive, family-orientated environment.
The curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales adapted for the international community in Bishkek. Teaching and learning follows an inquiry-based style which is in line with modern educational thinking. The programme offered compares very favorably with other international schools.
The programme is led by highly qualified teachers with experience in international curriculums. Instruction is in English. However, pupils have the opportunity to learn Kyrgyz, Russian and French.
